简介 Synopsis
Yong the Dragon is different. He is timid, quiet, and always feels out of place. Thankfully, his friend, Silver the Snake, always knows just what to do when Yong is feeling down. Silver suggests that they go for a walk, and together, they embark on a journey full of adventure and self-discovery.
Along the way, they encounter various challenges and obstacles, but with each one, they learn to overcome their fears and appreciate their differences. The play is a celebration of friendship and the beauty of being unique.
The audience will be invited to join Yong and Silver on their journey, experiencing a world filled with sensorial activities designed to stimulate their imaginations according to their various developmental milestones. Experiential, entertaining, and most importantly, memorable. Same Same But Different aims to inspire children to embrace their differences and find joy in their individuality.
About PLAYlab
This showcase is part of PLAYlab, is a developmental platform at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, targeting budding artists or collectives interested in Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) for children three to six years old. PLAYlab aims to provide opportunities for research and development in the creation of new TYA productions at the centre.
