Three Sisters was first created under Gateway Arts, Artist in Residence 2023, under the mentorship of Chong Tze Chien.
简介 Synopsis
Three Sisters travel to Tokyo for their first trip together. The common denominators in their lives - a loveless home, an unspoken fear towards one another, and a genetic predisposition to cancer. A touristy Matcha Experience unravels everything, but in this family, the step after unraveling is not re-building, but lies that conceal other lies.
Written and performed by Teo Pei Si, this original work picks at the seams of families that appear functional on the outside, and the circle of lies that both protects and destroys them.
Performed in Mandarin with English subtitles.
三姐妹第一次一起出国，踏上了东京之土。她们生活中的共同点：缺爱的家、对彼此存有无法言语的恐惧，以及面对癌症的风险。在一次专门为旅客设计的抹茶体验中，所有隐藏的事物逐渐揭开。但是在这个家庭中，揭开后并非重建，而是使用更多的谎言来掩盖。
由弓心/张佩思编写并表演的原创作品，剖析了那些外表看似正常实则暗藏裂痕的家庭缝隙，以及既维系但又吞噬她们的谎言循环。
